Tony Moly Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream Review

Hi sweeties! I have another cc cream review. This time it's from Tony Moly, which is the Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream. The reason why I picked this, because it's one of the two cc cream that is available here in the Philippines. The other one is from the skin shop, I'll try to get one and review it soon. By the way, I think the luminous aura cc cream was sold out few weeks after it was released. So I was thinking that it will be great to review this product before they release new stocks in tony moly stores here in the Philippines.

And here's a brief description of the product.

All in one effect with sunscreen + whitening + wrinkle repairs + radiance + moisture + primer + base make-up.

  • Capsule changes color matching to your own skin tone as soon as applied to offer innocent and gorgeous look to bare skin.

  • Creates smooth and moisturizing skin.

  • All in one cream that takes care of skin care and make-up at the same time with moisture that remains for hours.

  • Pink flower complex delivers nutrition to skin to create gorgeous skin that is easy to be dull.

  • Comes in a 5O ml tube
  • SPF 30 PA +++

Ingredients:

How to use
  • After your skin care, apply moderate amount with fingers all over face.
  • Re-apply to cover flaws perfectly.

My Thoughts:

Love the instant brightening effect! You can easily notice how your dull or pale face glow after the first application. But, but, but... Be careful in blending the product in your face. It appears a little white, so don't put too much and blend it properly. It adapts with the natural skin color.

With a sheer or light coverage, it can slightly correct redness, dark spots, hyper-pigmentation better with at least 2-3 layers. So if you want more coverage you can use concealer. This product has a light texture, not greasy, and not sticky. It is smooth upon application.

It contains SPF 30 PA +++, but I prefer a higher spf level specially because it's summer. According to the list of ingredients above, it contains some harmful ingredients that can irritate and may cause break outs. Beware of Ethylhexyl palmate (used as a emollient, fragrance, pigment), can cause skin irritation and pimples. So make sure to avoid this ingredient or just remove it properly. I think the dispenser or pump is hygienic.

For me it works better with bb cream or foundation. Of course, it will look great with smooth and clear skin if you plan to wear it alone. For me the price, 948 php, for the 50 ml bottle is quite reasonable. I actually use this alone with a powder for my everyday make up to give me a natural glow. And I highly recommend this cc cream for those who want to achieve what they call "no make up look" but not for those who wants a medium to high coverage. And for those with acne-prone or sensitive skin, sorry to say but you have to be careful with this product because of Ethylhexyl Palmitate. So I'll rate this product 4/5.

You can check out Tony Moly stores here in the Philippines for availability.

    1. It can only last for 3-4 hours, however if I'm in a well ventilated/ air-conditioned place it can last for about 5-6 hours in my face . :D
