My Thoughts:

This Laneige lip treatment is similar to a tinted lip balm. It provides moisture and color to the lips at the same time. That's why I really love tinted lip balms/treatment because it is good to use specially when I am in a hurry. I first got the tint red color. And oh man! I really love it! It is so moisturizing and gives a sheer color. The red color is not screaming loud, which is great for everyday look. And just last month, I decided to get the tint pink color. I am switching between the two lip color lately. The lip color last for 4-5 hours. Though it doesn't last for the whole day, I reapply this during my break time. It also contains SPF 17 for sun protection.

So let's talk about the main ingredients of this lip treatment, the murumuru butter, lauric fatty acid and myristic fatty acid. First one is the murumuru butter, is pressed from the reddish-orange fruits of the Astrocaryum murumuru tree. This tall palm tree is native to Brazil and other regions of the Amazon. Murumuru Butter's unique composition of essential fatty acids and Pro-Vitamin A help restore elasticity to damaged and aging skin and makes a highly suitable ingredient for use in anti-aging formulations. It is also soothing addition for products intended to heal dry and cracked skin, eczema and psoriasis (source: fromnaturewithlove.com) . Lauric fatty acid is a saturated fatty acid that can be found in coconut and palm kernel oils, and human breast milk. It has antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-acne properties. Myristic fatty acid is present in nutmeg, coconut, and palm oils. It acts a lubricant and an anti-inflammatory.  It helps repair the skin barrier and increases moisture and hydration.  There is some evidence that myristic acid can help with flaky skin by signaling skin cells when it’s time to stop growing (source: prosperorganics.com) .  For those with sensitive skin, watch out for candelilla wax and beeswax because it may cause mild irritations.

The price of this tinted lip treatment is almost the same as mac lipsticks. But for me it is worth the price. Over all I love this product, I always wear this when I go to school and work. I like the moisturizing effect and the sheer color. It keeps my lips moisturize all day but the color doesn't stay for a long time. I didn't experience any allergic reactions. And I highly recommend this product.  So I will rate this 4/5. :)

And that's my review for Laneige lip treatment. I hope you find it helpful. If you have tried this product feel free to share your thoughts below. If you want to check out this product you can always visit Laneige stores.
