My Thoughts:

Etude house correct and care cc cream comes in a white tube with a cute logo. The pump is a bit different from eh bb creams's pump. But I still hate it, I hope etude house will improve this.

Like other cc creams, it is in color white and blends in your natural skin color.

The coverage is sheer/light. It can't cover acne scars or hyper-pigmentation, but it can tone down redness a little. I usually dab a little amount of my favorite concealer (estee lauder disappear concealer) to cover my dark circles and other skin imperfections.

I only applied eh cc cream on the half of my face just to show you the brightening effect. You may notice how it gives my face a very nice glow. It lessen the appearance of my dark circles and reduced a little redness. This is really great for a natural make up look. EH cc cream in silky is good for those with oily skin because it is a little matte and not as dewy like other cc cream. Though it is made for those with oily type of skin it can only control oil for about 5-6 hours. It not as greasy and doesn't feels heavy like other cc cream.

Unfortunately, I noticed some few small zits/break-outs in my jaw area and forehead. But I didn't experience any allergic reactions. This cc creams contains some ingredients that can cause irritations and acne.  First one is the stearic acid, it used to soften rubber, to make plastics, cosmetics, soaps, oil pastels, etc. This ingredient is low to moderate hazard and some studies shows that it can cause skin irritations even in some amounts and may cause cancer. Talc can clog pores and can trigger break-outs, it is also considered as carcinogenic. Wondering why beeswax can cause irritation? Honey bees use the beeswax to build honeycomb cells in which their young are raised with honey and pollen cells being capped for storage (from wikipedia). There is possibility that people that are allergic to pollens may experience skin irritations like itching and rashes. I have mentioned before ethylhexyl palmate on my previous cc cream review. It can clog pores and can cause irritations specially if it is in large amount. According to caryskincare.com the comedogenic property of this ingredient is high, which is scary! Maybe this ingredient caused my skin to break-out. :'(  So guys beware of ETHYLHEXYL PALMATE!

Though I am disappointed with some ingredients it contains, particularly ethylhexyl palmate, I still like this cc cream. I highly suggest that you remove it properly with a good make up remover. I recommend Etude house cc cream in silky for those with oily type of skin and budget conscious, because it is a little cheaper compared to the other brands. And if you want a less dewy cc cream I recommend this. Over all I like this product and I will rate it 4/5.

    1. Hi ^.^ Etude House CC cream in silky is made for oily skin type as well as the faceshop cc cream(if you want a good coverage). But if you want a dewy finish try etude house cc cream in glow or tony moly aura cc cream.
